Steering Committee Welcome Kits
In December 2021 the California Green New Deal Coalition Steering Committee convened online for a strategy retreat to build community and work towards a collective vision to win transformative climate policy in California.
During a time of virtual meetings, these welcome kits served as a way to tie together a community of organizers and advocates from across the state as a token of appreciation for their participation and as a visual toolkit of the future they are fighting for.
The kits included custom designs screenprinted on journals, posters, bandanas, and plantable postcards, and a pair of stickers. All of the design and art production—including the paper making!— was done out of my Berkeley home.
